The Surplus Effect.

Company Shop Group approached us with their desire to amplify the impact they make across social, commercial and environmental landscapes and really shout about what they do through telling real stories, not just listing stats.

As pioneers in surplus redistribution, they wanted to showcase their transformative power and foster deeper connections with their stakeholders. Because of the vast nature in which their impact is felt we needed a campaign that could house many stories. So we came up with 'The Surplus Effect'. It encapsulates the far-reaching impact of Company Shop Group's mission - to see a world where no surplus product goes to waste - and will span 12 months celebrating the impact by weaving together narratives of financial returns, waste reduction, and community support.

Launching amid Food Waste Action Week our first piece of communication is a captivating film which brings The Surplus Effect to life, narrating the journey of surplus products and their transformative power on businesses, people, and the planet. We teamed this with a comprehensive report detailing the impact stats and some social gifs and graphics to drive footfall to their site.

The campaign helps Company Shop Group transform their data into a compelling narrative and as the campaign unfolds, we will see it used to engage stakeholders, spark conversations, and amplify their mission. From industry partners to local communities, the Surplus Effect will foster a deeper understanding of Company Shop Group's commitment to creating positive change.
